Class Schedule
Classes run Monday Nights, between the hours of 6:00pm - 9:00pm. Class time and length vary based on age and skill level. All Classes are held at Selkirk Community Church, Unless otherwise stated.
CM
Creative Movement
Creative Movement is the most beginner group at Rossdale, learning one Central Dance, and ensuring the most fun for the kids!

Beginner
Beginner is the next level group at Rossdale above creative movement, learning one Central Dance, and ensuring lots of fun for the kids, with a little more of a challenge!

Junior
Junior is the next level group at Rossdale above Beginner, learning one Central Dance, and one other region, or character dance!
Still ensuring lots of fun for the kids, with another added challenge!

Intermediate
Intermediate takes a larger step from Junior, adding in more complicated choreography. Still with just 2 dances, in varying regions.

Pre-Senior
The Pre-Senior group, learns 3 dances from various regions, focusing on enhancing skills to move toward the Senior group. More tricks for boys, more turns for girls!

Senior
The Senior group, learns 3 dances from various regions, focusing on enhancing skills to move toward Performing Ensembles. We challenge and push to make stronger more talented dancers, while still having fun!

Ages: 12-16

All Students are placed into groups based on age and skill level.
Additional dances for classes will be at the discretion of the Instructor.

The aim of RUDS is to encourage, enhance and promote the appreciation and preservation of Ukrainian cultural traditions as a contribution to the development of Ukrainian music and dance, and to train and provide future instructors and to give performances of this quality.
